Operators submit business registration, contact details and supporting rental or insurance documentation. The CroatianBoats team reviews the submitted documents before an operator can publish boats and receive booking requests. Verified operators carry the CroatianBoats Verified badge.
CroatianBoats reviews supporting business, contact and rental documentation submitted by operators. This review helps provide marketplace transparency but is not a government certification or guarantee of future performance. Vessel licensing, seaworthiness and crewing obligations remain the operator's legal responsibility.
Only a traveller whose CroatianBoats booking reached the completed state can publish a review, one per booking. Operators may respond publicly once, and may report a review — but they can never edit, hide or delete a traveller's review, and paid CroatianBoats features never influence ratings or review visibility. Reviews are screened for private contact information, abuse and spam before publication; critical, factual feedback is published.
Messages are screened so phone numbers, emails and addresses stay private until the booking connection is confirmed. Before you pay, you see the operator's accepted rental total, extras and CroatianBoats's connection fee separately. CroatianBoats collects only the connection fee — the rental balance is arranged directly with the operator under their own terms.
From any booking you can report an issue — including "boat was not as described" or a safety concern. That opens an CroatianBoats Trust & Safety case with your booking, messages and any linked review attached. Safety cases are prioritised. CroatianBoats reviews each case; we do not determine legal liability.
