Why explore Rab by boat?
Rab is a green island in the Kvarner gulf with a walled town of four bell towers on a narrow peninsula. Its northern Lopar peninsula has sandy beaches, unusual for this coast, and the surrounding coves and neighbouring islands make for short, easy days on the water.

A little local history
Rab was a Roman municipium and later, for long stretches, part of the Venetian Republic, which shaped the town's walls, palaces and bell towers. The island has a strong medieval religious heritage, with monasteries and churches from the Romanesque period, and its town layout has changed remarkably little.
